Velvet effects can be produced on textiles with the transfer process with heat-sealable flock films. For this a motif is cut out with scissors, laid on the material and covered with ironing paper. It is then fixed with the iron at cotton temperature for 2-3 minutes. Afterwards the textiles can be washed at up to 40°C.

Alternatively, a motif can be painted or stencilled with a special transfer process adhesive. After the adhesive has dried the velvet effect can be transferred from the flock film with an iron at cotton temperature.
