In pre-treatment the textile material is optimally prepared for subsequent processes such as dyeing, printing or finishing.

Impurities, natural accompanying substances and spinning works, weaving and warping mill additives must be sufficiently removed so that the material can easily be processed further.

Apart from cleaning the material, a change in the fibre structure can take place in the pre-treatment phase (e.g. through mercerisation of cotton or peeling of polyester), whereby entirely new material properties can be produced.

The CHT product range of pre-treatment allows the optimum cleaning of natural and man-made fibres in short and efficient processes. Furthermore it is completed by a huge number of products for special applications e.g. additives to inhibit yellowing during thermosetting or moulding.
